The name of my MFA thesis is intitled, Art of Recovery. At this time, portions of my thesis are being submitted for publication through the National Art Education Association. The following series of paintings were part of my MFA exibit back in May of 2007. This series was also shown at Methodist Rehabilatation Center in Jackson, MS in March - July of 2008. |

The
composite character named Thomas has been created by the artist to demonstrate
some of the struggles beset on a brain injury survivor. Just as Thomas
the Apostle doubted Christ's wounds, the composite character Thomas will
need proof of his brain injury. |
